Surprise

We had a surprise birthday party for my sister and brother on Saturday. My baby brother turned 40 - so now my parents have all their children over the age of 40. My sister, Cathy, turned 40+1 (she was upset when we mentioned a few weeks ago about having a 40th party for Max and didn't have one for her last year) , so we had a "40+1" surprise party for her too - and she was surprised. Not only did she not know we were having a surprise party for Max, she was so oblivious to everyone decorating outside in the backyard while she was inside in the kitchen talking, it couldn't have worked out more perfect. We had a great time and a lot of fun that night. Of course, lots of gag gifts!
