and the hair cutting was done up under the pergola. There were I believe a total of ten people who donated their hair with my sister who donated the most-and yes, she cried! After all, she has had that hair for over 40 years! Here is her before and after! 
She looked so much better after having it cut. My sister Laura and my niece Stephanie also cut their hair and donated it. It was such a fun event. Below, Laura and Carol after their hair cut.

I didn't cut mine, it wasn't long enough to donate. It was a great event for a good cause and they raised $2500.
